A unique blend of Torrontés and Riesling makes for one of the best value white wines from anywhere
For such an inexpensive wine this has a long history of receiving some noteworthy reviews making it one of the world's better white wine values from anywhere.
From the higher elevation environs of Salta (5,900 feet above sea level) in the extreme northwest of Argentina, Amalaya is one the world's more interesting white blends using Argentina's signature white varietal Torrontés, with a small percentage, 15%, of Riesling.
Renowned for its captivating floral aromatics and intense, vibrant fruit flavors, it is always well reviewed and in certain vintages this wine really knocks it out of the park, especially in light of its modest price point. The just released Amalaya Torrontes Riesling 2017 keeps this streak alive, having received 91 pts James Suckling with certainly more to come. We are offering this impressive value oriented Argentine white blend for $9.99 a bottle and $8.99 on a six bottle or more purchase, which brings even more value into the equation.
