95 point score from the stunning Antucura Malbec!
In the world of wine, a lot is driven by scores. People tend to follow reviewers that are more in line with their own personal tastes, and when a mid-90’s score pops up. People sit up and take notice.
Just recently, Decanter magazine, which is without a doubt one of the world's greatest wine publications, did a review on Argentine Malbec and the 2012 Antucura Malbec
was given an outstanding review, receiving a head turning 95 pts. This is serious stuff and for a wine that comes in under $15 this is a glowing review.
Short and sweet, this is one of the better sub $15 reds we have seen that delivers this much oomph for its modest price. We are offering it for $14.99 a bottle and $13.49 when you purchase 6 bottles or more, which makes it a great buy. This has the stuffing to for good mid-term aging. As usual, when a big score comes out on a wine that costs $15, the wine sells out quickly. We stocked up but it won’t last forever, so as always, first come, first served.
