A very interesting Pinot Noir producer in Central Otago

The farm is called Chard Farm, after the original owner when Otago was first being settled. Interestingly, it has become a top producer of Burgundy style wines from the region...
Here is a great deal on this Kiwi Pinot Noir out of the Central Otago region. Chard Farm was one of the first wineries established in the region in the mid 1980s when Rob Hay bought the Chard Farm and set about planting vines. All the locals said he was crazy but history has proven him out, as the Central Otago region is now recognized as one of New Zealand`s premier Pinot Noir producing areas. We were fortunate to have discovered this wine on a close out deal.
The Chard Farm Pinot Noir 2006 would normally sell for around $35 - $40 a bottle but we can now offer it for $19.99 and $17.99 when you purchase 6 bottles or more. Solid reviews and the new pricing makes this something definitely worthy of consideration if you like well made Pinot Noir. We worked this for several days and it held up perfectly. This has a few years of great drinking in front of it and it is just now hitting its sweet spot.
