One of Chile's best priced ultra-premium Cabernets - 96 pts Wine Advocate
This particular wine has positioned itself as one of Chile's premier Cabernet Sauvignon over the last decade.
What gives it an edge over many of its upper tier, premium priced Cabernet siblings out of Chile is its pricing. Where many of the upper tier, well known labels have taken big price increases over the last few years and have now reached the $100 and above mark, the Domus Aurea Cabernet from one of the finest single vineyards in the Maipo Valley, has held steady without any significant price increases.
Even with a slight price increase for the just released Domus Aurea Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 which takes it to just under $60, this in all comparisons is a terrific value on wine that has a history of being anointed with some glowing reviews. Case in point, the 2014 Domus Aurea was just reviewed by the Wine Advocate which gave it an eye opening 96 pts Wine Advocate which should garner quite a bit of interest, especially in light of the Holiday Season just in front of us. We are offering this highly rated Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon for $59.99 a bottle and $52.99 on a six bottle or more purchase. Simply put, relative to many other ultra-premium Chilean Cabernets, or for that matter, most premium Cabernet from anywhere in the world, this represents great value.
